London Luxury Hotels Resorts

Whether you are visiting London for work, for a quick sightseeing trip or for a longer holiday, there is so much to do in this vibrant capital city that you would be well advised to plan as much as possible in advance to make the very most of your London Break. Your first consideration will be where you should stay. Although your choice of Hotels in London will obviously be dependent on your budget and what you would like to see and do, you will still find that there is a huge and bewildering choice of 4 star and 5 star hotels London England has to offer. If the primary purpose of your visit is shopping you may want to choose a hotel near Oxford Street or Covent Garden.

Perhaps London Theatre is your thing and you want to visit some of many London's top shows, in which case you would be better situated in London's West End. Wherever you eventually decide on, you will find that most of the 4 star and 5 star luxury hotels London England has in its extensive selection are well served for transport links, whether by tube train, mainline national railway or bus. Furthermore, because of the wide variety of hotels London England has available, you are sure to be able to find one in or near your chosen location that has all the facilities you require, from business essentials like Wi-Fi access, to leisure facilities like gyms and swimming pools. Some high rise modern hotels offer unique, breathtaking views of the city from roof terraces, whilst others take full advantage of their location, with restaurants that afford beautiful views of the River Thames.

You certainly won't have a moment to be bored with all the tourist attractions on offer in London. From museums and art galleries to street markets and parks, there is an activity for any person, any day, any weather. Some attractions, like the London Eye, are best enjoyed in fine weather, when you can take full advantage of the magnificent views that you can see over the whole city and as far away as 40km on a clear day. A thirty minute flight enables you to see all of London's top attractions in one strike. From where else would you be able to get a bird's eye view of Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, St Paul's Cathedral and Westminster Abbey, all without leaving the comfort of a chair?
Art lovers could easily spend their entire stay in the capital's art galleries. The National Gallery houses Western European paintings from the 13th to the 19th centuries and includes works by such masters as Van Gogh, Renoir, da Vinci and Stubbs. If your taste in art is for the more modern, you will find an impressive selection of contemporary art in the Tate Modern, where permanent exhibitions are complemented by temporary exhibitions by top current artists such as Damien Hirst and Tracey Emin. In addition to these there are the National Portrait Gallery, the Hayward Gallery and the Royal Academy. Many of these have free entry, as do many of the museums, where you will be able to spend many happy hours, with or without children. You could easily spend a whole day in both the Science Museum, which exhibits the major scientific advances of the last 300 years, or the Natural History Museum, famous for its collection of dinosaurs, as well as a life sized model of a blue whale. However, don't forget either the Victoria and Albert Museum, which houses an amazing collection of artefacts from around the world, or the British Museum, where, amongst many other things, you can see Egyptian mummies and the Rosetta Stone. Both museums will enthral adults and children alike. All of the museums and art galleries mentioned have excellent cafe facilities on site, which means that you can break your exploration of the extensive collections, rest your aching feet and enjoy a cup of coffee, before resuming your tour.
So, the only difficulty you may experience in visiting London will be which of the huge choice of hotels to stay in and which of the vast array of attractions to visit first. It is entirely possible that one visit will simply not be enough. During your first trip, make a list of all those places you have not yet managed to see and make preparations for a return visit very soon.
